Chaos Envision
Chaos Envision
Chaos Envision is a new real-time visualization platform for immersive design storytelling and presentations. It offers tools for animation, photorealistic rendering, and real-time 3D assembly using .vrscenes from Enscape, V-Ray and Corona.
Powered by a high-fidelity ray tracing engine supporting trillions of polygons in real time, Envision enables the creation of detailed scenes without sacrificing performance or quality.
What to expect with Envision
High-end visual realism
100% ray-tracing - You don’t get much more real than this. Physically accurate lighting, reflections, shadows, and global illumination in both real-time and offline output.
Cosmos Library - Ready-to-use 3D assets, HDR images, and materials optimized for rendering are included with Envision.
Cinematic storytelling
Easy animation - Produce cinematic fly-throughs, tracking shots, and phasing animations with ease, achieving film-like quality without prior animation experience.
Immersive environment - Combining volumetric effects, like fog, animated vegetation, and high-fidelity assets with dynamic camera controls can add depth, atmosphere, and spatial context.
4D humans and crowds - Hyperrealistic, AI-powered 4D and 3D people powered by Chaos Anima. They not only look realistic, but they move naturally as well.
Scaling scenes
Robust assembly - Assemble data from multiple sources via Chaos .vrscene or industry-common exchange formats and combine scene elements from various 3D creation tools with no data preparation or loss.
Real-time realism - Handle detailed scenes and manage intricate geometry, high-resolution content, and dense environments, while maintaining real-time performance and ray-traced quality.
Design exploration
Unlimited variations - Define as many scene variations as needed to test various lighting scenarios, materials, object transformations, and visibility settings.
Interactive walkthroughs - Quickly animate transitions between versions to create immersive walkthroughs and over-the-shoulder presentations.
Object-level manipulation - You can tweak how materials look, where things are placed, and how they act. You also have precise control over other scenes and assets, allowing you to adjust them object-by-object.
Smooth workflows and collaboration
Easy coordination (.vrscene) - Envision works well with Enscape, V-Ray, leading CAD tools, and can also import from DCC tools via the .vrscene format.
Continuous design - Envision visualizations remain linked to the original scenes throughout the entire process, so they stay up to date, even as your design evolves. So as you make changes to geometry, materials, or layouts, Envision keeps up

Technical Requirements
Windows 10 with Update 2004 (version 10.0.19041) or newer
Processor - Minimum of 8 GB of GPU VRAM. It is recommended to have system RAM at least twice the size of GPU VRAM
RAM - Minimum of 8 GB of GPU VRAM. It is recommended to have system RAM at least twice the size of GPU VRAM (16GB Minimum per this recommendation)
GPU - DXR compatible NVIDIA® or AMD or Intel discrete GPU
For NVIDIA GPUs: RTX series or newer, required driver 515 or newer in WDDM mode, recommended driver 537.13 or newer
For AMD GPUs: RX 6000 series or newer (experimental)
Note: Discrete GPU refers to anything that is not built into the motherboard. Usually, this is a different brand to the CPU or processor. Ensure your GPU can handle raytracing if rendering is needed. Generally, NVIDIA GPUs that mention RTX and Radeon GPUs that mention RX will be able to handle ray tracing. If you are unsure if your GPU is correct or are looking to purchase a new GPU, feel free to contact our support team for advice.
