CINEMA 4D Studio's character tools make it easy to create character rigs and advanced character animations. Adding hair or fur to characters is fast and simple with a powerful suite of hair tools that you can grow, comb, style and animate. The physics engine makes it simple to perform complex collisions and interaction between objects, be it just a few or thousands. Network rendering allows you to take advantage of all computers on your network to help render your animations faster.

Many light manufacturers offer IES data for free download to realistically simulate the look of the real lighting fixtures. Brightness, color temperature, falloff and direction are already included in IES lights to produce the most realistic lighting. CINEMA 4D already includes several pre-defined, ready-to-go lamps.

Caustics-

Caustic effects, like the reflection of light from the face of a watch or on the bottom of a swimming pool, are easy to create with CINEMA 4D,  By accurately displaying the effects of light as it interacts with specific materials.

Integration

CINEMA 4D renders passes in any desired format (image sequences, AVIs or QuickTime movies) and creates a compositing project file that automatically brings all sequences together in the correct format. Depending on the compositing application used, additional data such as 3D cameras, 3D lights or reference objects will be exported as well.
